Andy Woods of the Western School District has participated in Chapter activities throughout high school including assisting at the Chapter's Farm Safety Day Camps, teaching Train and ATV safety in the school district and promoting Livestock safety on the family farm and at area agricultural fairs. Because hunting is so much a part of the culture of rural western Illinois Andy believes teaching children safe hunting practices from a young age is important.

          Andy plans to pursue a degree in Sheep Management at John Wood Community College and Western Illinois University and then return to the family farm.
